I live in a nice quiet community in north Georgia. I work at home because I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I like to build web pages, garden, bake stuff (sometimes), arts and crafts, and take care of my animals. I also love to visit the beach whenever I can. I moved to north Georgia after being born in south Georgia and living there all of my life. I attended ABAC (Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College). I had to leave college because I was so ill that I could not get any work done, so my life-long dream of becoming a Marine Biologist, somewhere along the line became me building web sites. Not exactly what I had planned but I like it Anyway, and besides if I had not got sick, quit college, and moved to north GA. I would have never met my fiancé Mike. :o) I have made a lot of really great friends who are also stricken with CFIDS. My best friend, Linda, has CIFDS. I met her almost 3 years ago. Her twin sister also has CFIDS. I find this interesting because my sister also has it, so it makes me wonder if it might run in families. I have a lot of online friends that have CFIDS; they come from all walks of life, and from all around the world. I have found great support and comfort with my fellow PWC (people with CFIDS).
As for now, I am just trying to live as normal a life as possible.
Some people say that getting ill is the best thing that has ever happened to them, I won't go that far, but I do appreciate the person I am now a lot more. I also seem to enjoy the little things in life that we take for granted more too.
